60-Minute Trial Flying Lesson

Take the controls during a one-to-one trial flying lesson from Perth Airport. Designed for first-time flyers and aspiring pilots, the lesson provides a practical introduction to flying with an ACS flight instructor.

What’s included

• A pre-flight safety briefing and aircraft familiarisation.
• Approximately 60 minutes in a two-seat training aircraft.
• Hands-on flying time, subject to the instructor’s guidance.
• Headset communication with your instructor.

What happens on the day

Meet your instructor at Perth Airport for a briefing and introduction to the controls. Your lesson may use a Cessna 152 or Tecnam P-Mentor, depending on operational availability. Once airborne, you will be invited to fly the aircraft. The route and views vary with weather and air traffic.

Voucher and redemption

Your electronic voucher is valid for six months from the purchase date. Request a preferred date using the ACS voucher redemption form. This is a booking request, not an automatic confirmation; ACS will contact you to arrange and confirm the flight, subject to instructor and aircraft availability, operational requirements and weather.

Premium Voucher Protection

Add Premium Voucher Protection at checkout to extend the voucher to 12 months, make unlimited name changes, and receive late-cancellation and rebooking protection.

• Minimum participant age: 14 years.
• Maximum participant weight: 90 kg.
• Friends and family are welcome to watch from the airport building.
• Flights are weather-dependent and the route may vary for operational reasons.
• Voucher valid for six months from purchase unless Premium Voucher Protection is selected.
• Vouchers are non-refundable. Late cancellations and non-attendance may result in the voucher being forfeited.
