Take the controls on a 60-minute flying experience from Perth Airport, flying one-to-one with an ACS instructor in a two-seat training aircraft.

This experience is for one participant and offers a longer, hands-on introduction to flying. After a safety briefing and aircraft familiarisation, you and your instructor will taxi to the runway and take off from Perth Airport.

What to expect

Headsets allow you to communicate with your instructor and hear Air Traffic Control throughout the flight. Once airborne, you can take the controls and try basic manoeuvres under your instructor's supervision.

The route may provide views of Perth, the River Tay, Scone Palace and the surrounding Scottish landscape. The exact route and aircraft used are subject to weather, operational requirements and availability.

Voucher and redemption

Your electronic voucher can be downloaded after purchase and is valid for six months from the purchase date. To request a date, use the voucher redemption form. This is a booking request, not an automatic confirmation; ACS will contact you to arrange and confirm the flight, subject to instructor and aircraft availability, operational requirements and weather. If ACS postpones the flight because of unsuitable weather or operational reasons, the voucher remains valid and the customer can rebook without charge.
